
GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. – The Clay County Grand Jury has indicted three individuals in the death of Clay County Sheriff’s Detective David White.
Chasity Elaine Prescott, Ryan Christopher Wilder and Jennifer Stamm Alder were indicted Wednesday morning.
All three were indicted on multiple Felony counts:
• One count of Felony Murder in the First Degree (White’s death)
• Three counts of Attempted Second Degree Murder (Other Clay County Sheriff’s Detectives on scene)
• One count of Second Degree Felony Murder (Suspect Ted Tilley’s death)
• One count of Trafficking in Methamphetamine While Armed
Wilder and Prescott were also indicted on a Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon charge. Prescott was indicted on an eighth count of Armed Burglary, for inhabiting the property illegally.
Detective White was shot and killed February 16, 2012, during an investigation of a methamphetamine lab at a Clay County home. Detective Matthew Hanlin was also shot. He is recovering from his injuries. Other officers on scene were shot at but were not hurt.
