Craig Roback

CRAIG EUGENE ROBACK– Convicted of Murder in the First Degree and Armed Robbery. Roback killed Vasudevbhal Barot in April 2011. The victim worked and lived at the Quality Inn and Suites off Dix Ellis Trail. Roback is one of five people arrested in the case. Roback tied the victim up and then beat him to death. The murder was the result of a plan to rob Barot of his money. Roback will be sentenced in June.

Kenneth Miller

KENNETH MILLER– Sentenced to two concurrent life sentences for the 1999 rape of a Riverside woman. A jury convicted Miller in March 2012 of Armed Kidnapping and Armed Sexual Battery. The crime happened in August 1999 and remained unsolved until 2010 when his DNA was matched to evidence left at the scene.

Miller broke into the victim’s Riverside apartment as she slept and raped her at knife-point. A jury convicted Miller in 40 minutes.

Terell Scruggs

TERRELL SCRUGGS — Convicted of Murder in the Second Degree, Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, Tampering with Evidence and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Scruggs shot and killed 75-year-old Lorenzo Williams in February 2011. Williams was headed to the store when he got caught in the crossfire of a gun battle Scruggs had with another man. Scruggs will be sentenced in June.
